• They finished at no.4 last year .They have retained their core team this year also.
• They won first match in super over but they lost their last match by big margin.
• Other batsman except S Anirudha need to take responsibility with bat.
• Their captain S Anirudha was their highest scorer of last season.He scored 347 runs and was 3rd highest scorer of the tournament.
• Srikant Aniruddha and V Aditya will open the batting . Both are very good and talented batsman.Anirudha is the best batsman of team.Anirudha scored match winning 58 in first  match while V Aditya failed with bat in both the matches.

• L Suryaprakash will bat at 1 down.He is an average batsman . He failed to play  a single good inning from last 2 seasons.

• Gopinath and A Arif are expected to bat next.Gopinath is good batsman in this while A Arif has yet to prove himself on big level.A Arif will do wicket keeping duty also.Gopinath scored attacking 37  in last game.
•  U Sasidev will bat next.He is very talented player but he failed to perform as per his talent in TNPL till now.
• M Ashwin and Harish Kumar are other good batsman of team.M Ashwin generally bats well while Harish Kumar scored attacking 39 in last match.Both can be promoted anytime for big hitting.
• M Siddharth can bat also.
• R Alexender,M Siddharth  and M Ashwin will lead the spin attack.All bowled well till now. M Ashwin took 8 wickets last season and was highest wicket taker of team ,he bowled well in IPL also.M Ashwin took 2 while R Alexader took 8 wickets in 2 matches. R Alexander bowled a terrific spell of 4-0-9-5 in last match.
• M Siddharth was economical in both the matches.
