- Tim Siefert has shown that he can be considered in the world cup squad because of his ability to play spin well. He has made destructive 84 of just 43 deliveries.
- Colin Munro was at his best in the first match and this formats suits him a lot in comparision to odis. So, once again Tim Siefert and Colin Munro will want to give flying start to Newzealand in 2nd T20 as well.
- Their most consistent performer Kane Williamson will bat at number 3 for them, he has taken a good start in the first match but was unable to convert it into big one but he can’t be ignored any time because of skills.
- D Mitchell will bat at number 4 for Newzealand, I thinks they are testing him in this format so they want to give him more deliveries as they are promoting him ahead of Ross Taylor. He will do the all round duty for Newzealand and can be proved X factor in your fantasy team as well.
- Ross Taylor will bat at number 5 for them, he is the man in form for Newzealand. He will be the key for them in building the inning as well as in accelerating it in death overs. He has good runs to his name during the odi series.
- C Grandhome and Santner will follow him next, C Grandhome is not looking comfortable against Indian bowling attack so if Neesham will be fit then he can replace Grandhome in the playing 11.
- M Santner and Ish Sodhi will do the spin duty for Newzealand.Both are known for their economical bowling. Both have taken 2 wicket each in middle overs and turn the 1st game in Newzealand favor.
- L Fergusion, Tim Southee and S Kugglejin will lead the pace attack for Newzealand. Tim Southee was at his best in previous match whereas L Ferugsion and S Kugglejin were also impressive.

- Indian team were out performed by Newzealand team in all the department and they will be eager to bounce back in the second match.
- Virat Kohli is rested for remaining games so he will not play
- Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will open the inning . After the initial matches of Odis none of them has played a big inning so if India want to defeat the host then one of them has to play a longer inning.
- Rohit is known to give some extended chance to their player so we expect only on or two changes in this Indian team.
- V Shankar had batted at number 3 position for India but he can be demoted as well so his batting slot is not fixed. He can even make way for Kuldep Yadav in the team.
- Ms Dhoni will bat at number 4 for India, he will be key for India in difficult situations.
- R Pant and D Kartik will follow him next. In recent time D Kartik has taken the responsibility of finisher and he is doing his job quite well while Pant is very attacking batsman and is known for his six hitting abilities.
- Hardik Pandya was expensive with ball but at the same time he has provided crucial breakthrough as well so he will be key for India in batting as well as bowling department..
- Krunal Pandya was the only impressive bowler of the previous match and he will like to have some contribution with bat as well. India should promote him as well to check his batting ability.
- Yuzvendra Chahal and Krunal Pandya will lead the spin attack, India can even insert Kuldeep as well in 2nd t20.
- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar,Khaleel Ahmad/Siddharth Kaul and Hardik Pandya will lead the pace attack of the team. S Kaul can be tested ahead of K Ahmad in this match.
