• Shikhar Dhawan and Lokesh Rahul will open the innings, both are technically strong batsmen and are good hitters of the ball. Rahul is looking in very good form while Dhawan is coming after injury. Rahul scored 45 while S Dhawan scored 32 in the last match.
• Virat Kohli, world’s No. 1 batsman will come at one down. He is the best batsman of this time and is a consistent performer. He generally scores big.
• Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant will bat at 4 and 5  respectively while Shivam Dube and W Sundar will do late hitting duty. Iyer is the player who can play in both manners,  i.e in attacking manner as well as can rotate the strikes but he generally gets less chance to bat in this format.

Shardul is an average bowler but he took 3 wickets in the last match.
• Kuldeep Yadav and W Sundar will handle the spin department. Kuldeep is a chinaman bowler and is a true wicket-taker. He took a Hat-trick in the 3rd last game. W Sundar is known for his economical bowling.
