• Mohammad Sami will lead the team this year.
• Luke Ronchi ended as the highest run-scorer and the man of the tournament last year with 435 runs from 11 matches which included five half-centuries.
• They also have Faheem Ashraf who was the highest wicket-taker last year and picked up 18 wickets.
• Luke Ronchi and Shahibzada Farhan/Ian Bell/Philip Salt are expected to open the inning while C Delport is expected to bat at 1 down. All are very attacking batsman.
• Hussain Talat is expected to bat at 2 down. He is technically strong batsman and was in good form in t20 series against South Africa.
• Samit Patel is expected to bat at  3 down. He is a proven t20 performer. He is not very attacking batsman but is a consistent performer of the team.
• Asif Ali and Faheem Asraf will do late hitting duty. Both are known for their six hitting capabilities.
• Shadab Khan and Zafar Gohar(slight risky) can bat also.
• Shadab and Samit Patel will lead the spin attack while Zafar Gohar(risky) can assist them.Shadab  is a leg spinner and is a wicket taking bowler while Zafar Gohar bowled well in warm up match .
• Depending upon pitch any one of Zafar Gohar and Amad Butt will play. They have done the same last year also.
• Mohammad Sami,Faheem Ashraf and one of Rumman Raees(high)/Waqas Maqsood  will lead the pace attack. Sami is a consistent performer of the PSL while Faheem Ashraf was the highest wicket taker of last season but his recent form is not that much good.
• Rumman Raees is coming from injury and is known for his variation while Waqas Maqsood is the highest wickettaker of last domestic season.

• Sandeep Lamichhane , D Wiese and C Anderson are not available for selection.
• Brendan Taylor is expected to get preferred over  A Devcich as B Taylor will also play the role of specialist wicketkeeper.
• Harris Sohail participated in practice session but as per team management  he will have late fitness test. However he will find it tough to be in playing11 even if he gets fit.
• Team coach indicated that Sohail Akhtar will open the inning in this match.
• Sohail Akhtar(can bat at pitch hitter also) and Fakhar Zaman is expected to open the inning.Fakhar is a good hitter of ball.
• Their captain Mohammad Hafeez will bat at 1 down. He was in good form against South Africa and he generally plays well.
• One of the best batsman of this decade, AB Devilliers will bat at 2 down. He can tear apart any bowling attack .Team will jope a strong showing from him.
• Brendan Taylor and C Barthwaite are expected to bat next. B Taylor was in good form in BPL while A Devcich is a hit or miss type player.
• Any one of Haris Sohail or Hassan Khan will play. Hassan Khan is spin bowling allrounder while Haris Sohail is a batsman who can bol part time spin.
• Shaheen Afridi, Hardus Viljoen and C Brathwaite will lead the pace attack while any one of Rahat Ali/Haris Rauf will assist them.
• .Both Shaheen and H Viljoen are in terrific form while Rahat Ali bowled well last year.
• Haris Rauf is a out and out fast bowler . He impressed the coach by his speed. He can bowl at 150kmph constantly.
• Yasir Ali will lead the spin attack of the team while Hassan Khan is expected to assist him. Yasir is a good spinner but his t20 form is not that much good.
