• After loosing the t20 series India bounced back superbly and won the first ODI.Chase master MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav played crucial role in first match.
• Most probably India will go with unchanged team in this match.However India can shuffle between Kuldeep and Chahal as mentioned by Kohli in last match.
• Rohit Sharma and S Dhawan will open the inning for India. Both generally plays well in this format and have good record in this format.Rohit takes some time before attacking while Dhawan plays in attacking manner.
• King Kohli will bat at number 3 for India. He is best batsman of this time and is very consistent performer of the team.He will be real threat for Australia.

• Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja will do late hitting duty .Vijay Shankar will fill the gap of Hardik Pandya, in recently concluded series against Newzealand he played well . He will contribute with ball as well,this is very crucial series for him.
• Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin attack of India. Kuldeep is chinaman bowler while Ravindra Jadeja is off spinner.Kuldeep is  very attacking and wicket taking bowler and is one of the best spinner of limited cricket in recent time.
• Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami will lead the pace attack of the team. Bumrah is rated as one of the best bowler of world while Shami bowled well in last 2 series.
