• Indian team performed badly in the first 2 matches in absence of their regular openers. They can try their benched player in this game as per Virat Kohli.
• Manish Pandey or Rishabh Pant can replace Kedar Jadhav in the playing11.
• Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal will open the inning while Virat Kohli will bat at no. 3. All the 3 are technically strong batsmen. Prithvi bats in attacking manner and was in very good form in the domestic circuit however his over attacking nature is the main reason of his downfall in the international matches. Mayank Agarwal is an average batsman of this form and his current limited over form is also not good.
• Virat Kohli is rated as the best batsman of this time and is a consistent performer. He generally scores big.
• Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will bat at 4 and 5  respectively while Manish Pandey/Kedar Jadhav/Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja will do late hitting duty. Iyer is the player who can play in both manners i.e in attacking manner as well as can rotate the strikes and is in terrific form with the bat at this time, he scored 1 century and 1 half-century in the last 2 games. KL Rahul is an attacking batsman and is in terrific form with the bat, he scored an attacking half-century in the first match and was the highest scorer of the team in the t20 series.
• Manish Pandey/Kedar Jadhav/Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja generally get less chance with the bat. Ravindra Jadeja scored a half-century in the last game.
•  J Bumrah will lead the pace attack along with Shardul Thakur and Navdeep Saini. Bumrah is the best Indian bowler and is a genuine wicket-taker but he flopped badly in this series and is struggling to get his rhythm back after his return from the injury. Both Saini and Shardul have good pace and bounce. Shardul has given plenty of runs but he has taken good no. of wickets also.
• Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja will handle the spin department. Chahal is a leg spinner and is a wicket-taking bowler while Ravindra Jadeja is known for his economical bowling. Jadeja bowled well in almost all the matches. Jadeja took 2 while Chahal took 3 wickets in the last match.

T Southee is the best pace bowler of the team but he failed to create any problem to the opposition except the last match. K Jamieson is a tall pace bowler and is known for his pace and bounce, he took 2 wickets in his very first match. H Bennett is known for his death bowling.
