• Aiden Markram and H Amla are expected to open the inning. Amla is their star batsman , he struggled a lot in recent time but looked in good touch in recent test series. Team will hope he will carry forward his form in ODIs .
• Aiden Markram also played well in test after struggling in ODIs against Zimbabwe.
• Duplesis almost confirmed debut of RV Dussen in this match. He is expected to bat at 1 down.The Jozi Stars batsman was the leading run-scorer of the Mzansi League with 469 runs at a strike-rate of 138.75.
• Ever reliable Faf Duplesis will bat at 2 down. He is consistent performer of the team and generally plays well.
• H Klaasen and D Miller will bat next. Miller batted well in last series while recent form of H Klaasen is not that much good.

• Imran Tahir will lead the spin attack of the team. He is in very good form and is a wicket taking bowler.
• Kagiso Rabada and D Olivier will lead the pace attack while D Pretorious and A Phehlukvayo will assist them. Rabada is rated as one of the best fast bowler while Olivier was in terrific form in test cricket. Both Rabada and Olivier are known for their pace and bounce.

• As per reports Pakistan team management is thinking of playing batting allrounder in place of bowling allrounder. So Hussain Talat is expected to make cut ahead of Faheem Asraf.
• Imam Ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman will open the inning of the team. Fakhar is attacking batsman while Imam is technically strong batsman. Imam averages 63 while Fakhar averages 59 in this format.Both will have real test against the African bowlers.
• Babar Azam , Hafeez and Shoaib Malik will bat next. In this both Azam and Malik are strength of PAK batting , both generally plays well and are technically strong batsman.
• Hafeez is also good player but generally struggles in overseas condition.
• Sarfraz Ahmad and H Talat/Faheem will bat next. Sarfraz will have to play well as critics are raising lot of doubts over him.
• Shadab Khan can bat also.He will lead the spin attack of the team,he is a leg spinners and is a good bowler. M Hafeez and S Malik will assist him.
• M Amir, Shaheen Afridi  and  Hasan Ali will lead the pace attack of the team. Shahin is in terrific form in limited over cricket while Amir and Hasan Ali are also good bowler.
